Yoganastix factory-tour preview showing the Phoenix apparel production workshop

Small-Batch Clothing Manufacturing in the USA: Start with Proven Styles

Start with a proven style. Add your artwork. Build your line with U.S. production.

You do not have to go overseas to create your apparel line. With Yoganastix, you can begin with a style we already make, add your logo or original artwork, and start with a small eligible order. As your business grows, you can expand into more styles, all-over prints and custom-developed products.

We design, print, cut and sew apparel in Phoenix, Arizona. Our starting point is the product you want to sell or wear: a premium T-shirt with a flattering, non-boxy fit, a tank for a fitness studio, a resort collection, festival apparel or an artist's scarf. The garment, fabric and print method determine the production path.

Explore Styles & Minimums | Plan Your First Order

Looking for a U.S. manufacturer instead of ordering overseas?

Perhaps you currently order clothing from China or another overseas supplier and want to explore domestic production. Or perhaps this is your first collection and you simply want to work with a manufacturer in the United States.

You can start that conversation without committing to a fully developed clothing line. Bring the product you have in mind, the quantities you need, your artwork and your target cost. We will review whether an existing Yoganastix style fits the project or whether new development is needed.

Moving an existing production program back to the United States is often called reshoring. Starting here from the beginning is a domestic manufacturing choice. Either way, compare the actual garment, materials, scope and total order commitment—not only the factory price per piece.

Who can start with Yoganastix?

Independent clothing stores, especially in Arizona. Choose established apparel styles for your store, then explore original artwork or a signature collection. An existing Yoganastix wholesale assortment is also a separate starting option.

Resorts and resort boutiques. Plan clothing and accessories that suit your property, destination and guests. A destination-inspired design can begin on an established style before expanding into a broader assortment.

Yoga, Pilates and fitness studios. Explore premium tees and tanks with attention to softness, drape and fit, rather than assuming your only option is a standard boxy promotional T-shirt.

Festivals, vendors and event businesses. Put the artwork and the garment together from the start. Share the event date, required arrival date and quantities so the production plan can be reviewed before you promise delivery.

Artists and independent clothing brands. Explore turning original art into products you can sell, including scarves and apparel. Scarves and other accessories need their own material, print and minimum-order review; a garment offer does not automatically apply to every accessory.

You do not need to be a yoga brand to work with Yoganastix. The common need is a suitable product, your own design direction and a practical U.S. manufacturing partner.

Start with a style we already make

Your first custom product does not necessarily need a new pattern. When an established garment already has the shape and fit you need, the project can focus on your artwork, fabric color, placement and size quantities.

For a premium T-shirt or tank, look at the neckline, length, silhouette, fabric feel and how it drapes. Choose the starting style on those details—not just the space available for a logo. Confirm the current size and material options for that style.

Our suggested progression is simple: choose an established style, add your art, place a manageable first order, learn what sells, then expand. You can stay with that successful style and reorder; a completely custom garment is an option, not a requirement.

How small can the first order be?

Yoganastix starting paths
Project Starting quantity What must match
Existing Yoganastix style and design 6 per line item Same style, design and color; sizes may mix.
Your logo or placement artwork on an eligible existing style 12 initially Same style, color and design; sizes may mix.
Exact reorder of that custom item 6 The approved style, color and design stay the same.
Custom all-over print 100 minimum Style and size allocation, artwork and production scope are confirmed in the proposal.

For example, three Small, four Medium, three Large and two Extra Large garments total 12 when they share the same eligible style, color and design. That illustrates the grouping rule, not the ideal size mix for every business.

A new pattern, special material, custom labeling or other development requires a separate scope review. The 12-piece placement-artwork offer is not a promise to develop any new garment in 12 pieces. See the current wholesale ordering paths.

Add artwork now; expand the collection when it makes sense

A placement print puts your design in a defined area, such as the front of a tee or tank. A repeating all-over print continues across fabric. An engineered print is planned around specific garment panels and may need different production files for different sizes or configurations.

For an artist planning a scarf, review the full composition, finished dimensions, material and print coverage together. It is a product-development decision, not simply shrinking or stretching the same graphic used on a T-shirt.

The print method must suit the material. Sublimation has no white ink, and the fabric color affects the result. Black garments use a different process, such as DTF, rather than sublimating white artwork onto black fabric. Review artwork and printing guidance.

What does production in Phoenix mean?

Yoganastix designs, prints, cuts and sews apparel in our Phoenix operation. You can discuss your project directly with the people reviewing the garment, artwork and production plan. Watch the factory tour for a closer look.

Garment production and fabric origin are separate facts. Confirm the material origin and appropriate wording for the actual product before using a country-of-origin claim on your labels or website. Domestic sewing does not automatically mean every material was sourced in the United States. The FTC textile-labeling guide explains these distinctions.

Choose the fabric for the product—not just the label

Recycled Eco Luxe is one available fabric option: double-brushed, 180 GSM, with 95% recycled polyester and 5% spandex. This describes that fabric, not every Yoganastix garment or scarf. Ask which materials are appropriate and available for your chosen style.

Look at softness, stretch, drape, print compatibility and care alongside specific sourcing information. Keep recycled-content and other environmental descriptions tied to the material and supporting records. Explore fabric options.

Compare the whole project cost

When comparing domestic and overseas production, request equivalent specifications and itemized quotes. Include development, samples, garment production, artwork preparation, printing, labeling or packaging, shipping, applicable duties and taxes. Do not count a charge twice when it is already included.

Opening-order cash requirement = development and samples + production + additional decoration or labeling + packaging + shipping + applicable duties and taxes.

As a hypothetical example, 100 garments at $30 require $3,000 for garments, while 500 at $15 require $7,500. These are not Yoganastix prices, and other costs are excluded. The lower price per piece does not automatically require less money to begin.

U.S. production is not guaranteed to be the lowest-cost option for every project. The useful comparison is the cost and commitment of the actual order you need, including what happens when you reorder or change the design.

Use the Custom Studio—or start with a production conversation

You do not need finished artwork to make an inquiry. Explore eligible styles, share your art or design direction, and organize the quantity and material choices. The Custom Studio is optional; its previews help develop the conversation but do not replace an approved production specification.

The workspace saves requests for review and does not take payment. We confirm the proposed scope, quote, required approvals and timing before production. For a new garment, bring your references, sample or tech pack so development needs can be identified.

The Custom Apparel Collection Planner helps you gather your product, artwork, size quantities, budget and required arrival date. It is available without signing in.

Start small. Make it yours. Build from there.

Whether you run an independent clothing store, buy for a resort, operate a studio, sell at festivals or create original artwork, you can explore U.S. manufacturing without assuming that your first step must be a large overseas order or a completely new garment.

Create your vibe.
