Custom Apparel Printing + Artwork | Yoganastix

Custom Printing + Artwork

Yoganastix supports custom branding, placed graphics, all-over sublimation, engineered artwork and private label production.

The correct print method depends on the garment, fabric color, artwork and desired effect.

Standard Artwork Placement

One standard logo or artwork placement is included in standard custom wholesale pricing.

If production preparation is required, a $25 one-time standard artwork setup may apply.

The same approved artwork can generally be reused across compatible products without another setup unless rebuilding or reformatting is required.

Typical Women’s Front Placement

For many women’s tops, a standard center-front artwork width is approximately 9 inches.

Typical vertical placement:

  • Boyfriend Tank: approximately 2 inches below the neckline
  • Crew-neck tops: approximately 4 inches below the neckline
  • Shallow or horizontal artwork may be positioned higher on the upper chest for better visibility

Final placement is confirmed by style, artwork shape and garment size.

Left-Chest Logos

Typical left-chest logo width:

3.3 to 4 inches

On the Boyfriend Tank, a typical left-chest position is approximately:

  • 7 to 7.5 inches down from the high point of the collar
  • approximately 3.5 to 4 inches from center chest

Final placement is approved before production.

Additional Print Placements

Additional artwork placements may increase the garment price.

Additional sublimation placement:
+$2.50 per unit

Additional DTF placement:
+$2.50 per unit + $0.03 per square inch of printed artwork

Examples of additional placements include:

  • sleeve graphic
  • upper-back logo
  • second front graphic
  • back artwork
  • secondary branding mark

Dye Sublimation

Sublimation is ideal for full-color artwork on compatible polyester-based fabrics.

Benefits include:

  • full-color printing
  • no per-color ink charge
  • artwork becomes part of the fiber
  • excellent durability
  • suitable for repeating prints
  • suitable for engineered garment artwork
  • excellent for all-over print production

Sublimation does not print white ink.

The existing fabric color becomes part of the finished artwork.

All-Over Repeating Print

All-over repeating artwork is printed across the fabric before the garment is cut and sewn.

This works well for:

  • floral prints
  • geometric patterns
  • branded repeats
  • animal-inspired prints
  • abstract artwork
  • custom textile designs

A seamless repeat is typically simpler to prepare than a size-specific engineered print.

Engineered Sublimation

Engineered artwork is mapped to specific garment panels or locations.

Examples include:

  • centered graphics on leggings
  • artwork aligned across front and back panels
  • graphics designed around side seams
  • sleeve-specific artwork
  • artwork that changes by garment size

Engineered artwork may require a separate production file for each size, colorway or unique panel configuration.

All-over and engineered sublimation are quoted as part of the garment production process and are not treated as a standard $2.50 additional placement.

DTF Printing

DTF is typically used for placed graphics where sublimation is not appropriate.

It is especially useful for:

  • Black
  • Dark Mocha
  • Navy
  • dark two-tone fabrics
  • light-colored graphics on dark garments
  • smaller branded placements

DTF pricing is based partly on the printed artwork area.

Screen Printing

Screen printing may be used when the desired effect requires a specialty surface application.

This can include effects that cannot be reproduced accurately through standard sublimation or DTF.

True specialty shimmer effects generally require screen printing.

Multiple Artwork Colors

Full-color sublimation is not charged by the number of ink colors.

A five-color sublimated design does not create five separate print charges.

Pricing is driven by garment production, artwork preparation, production-file complexity and the number of separate print operations.

Artwork Approval

Before production, Yoganastix reviews:

  • artwork quality
  • dimensions
  • placement
  • print method
  • fabric compatibility
  • production-file requirements
  • colorway
  • quantity

Final production pricing is confirmed after this review.
